Why we started CKP.
We spent years watching talented executives struggle with cybersecurity advice that assumed a technical background they didn't have — and watching technical teams deliver reports that boards couldn't act on. We built Cyber Knowledge Partners to fix that.
Cyber Knowledge Partners was founded by two cybersecurity veterans who lived this gap at the highest levels of industry. Our founders bring decades of combined experience across banking, healthcare, government, and higher education — the sectors where cyber risk has real, measurable consequences.
We don't do compliance theater. We don't generate reports that gather dust. We work directly with boards, CEOs, and senior leadership to translate cyber risk into business language — and to help organizations make the decisions that actually protect them.
We also publish. Two book series — one a plain-English handbook for small business owners, the other a fiction series exploring what happens when the systems we trust start working against us. Both extend our mission: making cybersecurity accessible, actionable, and understood.
